News and a Rant 3 - 25 - 12

Hello and Welcome to The Ward.

Honestly, every time I start News and A Rant I think to follow the opening line with "Where you come to get your boredom cured," but I always save it till the end instead. Unfortunately, even if I didn't save it till the end, I couldn't say it this time because lately, The Ward hasn't been a place where you could get your boredom cured. This was because until recently, I had been working on another project, which I'm technically still working on, and unfortunately, since I'm going to be working on another project starting today, The Ward won't be active again anytime soon. Instead it'll be going on another hiatus till about mid-April, when I promise, even if neither of my projects are finished, I'll begin updating again.



So since I mentioned it, I figure I should give a little information about one of the projects. Recently I obtained the program RPG Maker VX, and with it, I fiddled around to get my bearings and decided to make an RPG. This program allows user to make j-rpg style games, with a dragon quest-like battle system (unless you use a script to change it). So anyway, after creating a short game to get my bearings, I created a second one that is meant to be a lot longer and a lot more immersive. Because of a lack of a better title at the moment, that game is called Grand Tale, and because it's a lot longer than the first game I planned to release it in acts, it's second one so far being the longest. So even if it's not much; since The Ward will be sleeping till April, I leave you with Grand Tale and hope that this rather short game manages to entertain you.
